About North Devon Cricket Club
Located
at Instow, a small village on the coastal road between Barnstaple and
Bideford, North Devon Cricket Club was formed in 1823 and has for 181 years
provided the facilities for persons of all ages and abilities to enjoy the
game of cricket. Situated at the head of the Taw and Torridge estuary it can
claim not only to be one of the oldest clubs in the West of England, but
also one of the most beautiful. The thatched pavilion is a Grade 2 listed
building dating back some 450 years.
